Description of duties  :

 

 

The nursing manager is based on the patient rights charter and is based on the nursing process and care standards as follows:
 
1.  Planning in the areas of quality improvement and continuous improvement of the activities of providing services to clients
2.  Determining goals (short-term, medium-term, long-term) based on needs to provide and maintain and improve the level of health and social welfare of the client according to the relevant policies and proposals to the relevant authorities.
3.  Planning to form and participate in special committees with documented duties (educational, research, infection control and monitoring, etc.)
4.  Determining the policy and adopting appropriate methods and determining the timetable to achieve the desired goals
5.  Supervising the development and implementation of patient and family education programs 
6.  Supervising coordination and active participation in health, treatment and rehabilitation planning of the center
7.  Participation in setting the budget for the center's activities with the hospital management and financial affairs unit
8.  Participation in research projects related to nursing office
9.  Carrying out planning and cooperation with other relevant units to improve the knowledge and professional skills of nursing staff
10.  Determining the estimation of different levels of manpower required by nursing departments based on scientific standards
11.  Determining the limits and expectations and performance factors in different job categories according to the facilities and approved job descriptions.
12.  Employing human resources based on the ability of people in different work shifts.
13.  Suggesting and interviewing candidates and selecting qualified people and introducing them to recruitment for employment in the units.
14.  Suggesting the appointment and transfer of employees under the supervision of the head of the center for the relevant units
15.  Deciding on vacations, missions, etc. of nursing staff
16.  Leadership and guidance of nursing units to achieve organizational goals 
17.  Providing a suitable model of nursing with effective communication, optimal performance, good job behavior and...
18.  Adopting the necessary measures and providing basic solutions to strengthen the motivation of the employees (encouraging and punishing) of the nursing department
19.  Management of internal and external meetings related to the duties of the units 
20.  Forming and conducting dedicated and special meetings to solve the problems of the relevant units with the benefit of scientific problem solving technologies. 
21.  Supervising the provision of training needs of employees, including familiarization of newly arrived personnel with regulations 
22.  Active participation in internal committees
23.  Providing optimal solutions to the official and creating suitable conditions for optimal use of available resources in order to achieve the desired goals
24.  Determining the policy and adopting appropriate methods and determining the timetable to achieve the desired goals of the group under the supervision of the nursing director.
