Medical Tourism or Health Tourism includes travelling to another countrie in order to be under different surgeries and receive various medical and optolmological health care and eyelid surgery. The low cost of health care, searching for the experienced specialist physicians, suitable quality of health services, safety and short waiting time for treatment are the main reasons for travellers with treatment purposes. 

   The low expenses of medical and health care services in Iran is one of the advantages in Health Tourism domain. Another reason of health tourism development in Iran is having skilled physicians and trained medical staff in the hospitals in camparison to another middle-east countries. Iran is the leading country in developing health science in the region.

Dar al-Shafa Mirjaveh Specialized Hospital is a general hospital located near the border of Pakistan, where on average more than 400 patients residing in the border areas visit this hospital daily for specialized services

This hospital is one of the 218 health and treatment projects operated in Sistan and Baluchistan province, which was launched in 2017 on a land area of 8 thousand square meters and an built structure of 3 thousand square meters..

Currently, this hospital consist of 37 active beds in the inpatient and emergency and dialysis wards, 2 equipped operating rooms and surgical, internal medicine, children's, women's, infectious, and ophthalmology clinics and para-clinical units including a laboratory, pharmacy, radiology, optometry, audiometry and nutrition
